Review
This is official description
This powerful tool allows you to track any LAN, giving you the most detailed information on what, how and when your network users performed. Whether it is a library public network, university or commercial organization network – Activity Monitor offers efficient control. The system consists of server and client parts. Activity Monitor server can be installed on any computer in the entire LAN. Remote spy software (Agent) is a small client program that is installed on all computers on the network you want to monitor. It can be installed even remotely from the PC with Activity Monitor on it or via Active Directory Group Policy in a Windows domain.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 6.0
Activity Monitor is a fine piece of software that I have come across recently. As employer, I always want to know what my employees do at the office. I suspected some of them in wasting their time on activities that had nothing to do with their job. So, I decided to use this program and I caught them red-handed. Activity Monitor is an application that remains invisible for those who are monitored, unless you opt for the “Aware” feature and then it becomes visible. It can do all the things you can think of. It tracks your network activity in real time and offers live view of remote desktops, easy Internet usage monitoring or view of software usage. It records and stores data automatically, such as history of sent and received email or chats on messenger, web forums, chat rooms, social networking, etc. I like the feeling of total control it offers as well as the security settings that allow only the authorized person to access remote desktops.
Activity Monitor is very easy to use and its benefits are, indeed, considerable. Sometimes this intelligent tool can even protect a company from fraudulent activity or intellectual property and trade secrets theft. Anyway, as far as I am concerned, I can honestly say that this utility helped me save a lot of money and boost productivity in my business. |
- It protects a company from fraudulent activity or intellectual property and trade secrets theft.
|
- Users must pay attention to the fact that this "spy activity" could turn against them, meaning they could find personal employees information that are confidential and must remain in this way.
